The Heart of a Lion
It is a little over one month post-surgery. The dust of the "Messy Middle" has settled, and the real work begins.
I have returned to work.
On Friday Night, thanks to the incredible assistance of my Mobile Command Unit, I returned to the streets of Downtown Knoxville. I conducted my Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tour.
Flawlessly.

It wasn't just a tour; it was an education. It was hands-on investigation.

The small group of investigators who joined me had the night of their lives. We were in the shadows, we were on the case, and we were making history.
This return was not just a professional victory; it was a medical milestone. I have terminated my pain medicine. The only medication remaining is to assist with the sciatica resulting from the muscle loss in the pelvic region. I am trading the pharmaceuticals for the streets. I am trading the sedation for the sensation of the hunt.
This is the determination to be the Heart of my Creation.
I am building a new standard—a Model for Investigation-Based Ghost Tours. It isn't about jump scares or scripted stories. It's about the "Mobile Command Unit" mindset: adaptability, resilience, and the refusal to stop.
Proverbs 28:1 says, "The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."
To get back to work—to stand before clients and deliver the experience they deserve—requires a lion's heart. It requires looking at the empty space where a limb used to be and saying, "I am still here. I am still capable. I am still leading."
I am doing this Ex Cinere cum Armis Dei—From the Ashes, with the Arms of God.
The surgery was the fire. The recovery was the ash. But this moment? This return to the streets? This is the Phoenix rising. I am proving that the "Anomaly" is not just a mathematical probability; it is a way of life.
The tour is back. The Historian is back. The Lion is back.
Let us investigate.
Reflection What is the "heart" of your creation? Are you waiting for the pain to vanish before you pursue your mission, or are you willing to step forward—even with a limp—and lead?
